The installation DAY\LIGHT No. 8 is formed of quartz glass rods held together by satin-finished copper sleeves and emits its light directly into the room.
The undulating curved glass rods of DAY\LIGHT No. 8 form a screen to compartmentalise the room without taking away the view.
The result is a play of translucency and lightness. Both the glass rods and the satin-finished copper sleeves have a soft visual effect and are also very appealing to the touch, especially as they are movable in themselves.
Moving light waves
The fact that the curved quartz glass rods function as lateral optical fabrics creates a homogeneous light output without glare. The atmosphere created in the room is gentle and pleasant.
Interior design with DAY\LIGHT No. 8
As a screen, DAY\LIGHT No. 8 is movable, but it can also be mounted on a base plate or placed in front of a wall.
This means that private rooms can be well compartmented or reception areas and lounges in the hotel industry, in restaurants or in shops, in order to create ever new room situations.
This is done in a gentle way and without obscuring the view within the overall space.
